I love the book Horton Hears A Who because of its message. In the book, Horton stands up for the Whos, even when nobody else can hear them. I relate this message to education, as a teacher, I need to be the voice for my students to ensure they receive the education and services they need to be successful. As educators we need to work together to create a safe environment for all of are children.
"A person's a person, no matter how small."
What a wonderful choice. I love that book and the message behind it. This is another example of a book that contains a message that is equally important for adults and children to remember.
