National Association of Early Childhood Teacher Educators:
The focus of the National Association of Early Childhood Teacher Educators is to promote improvements in early childhood education, provide a communication network for early childhood educators and facilitate the interchange of information and ideas about research and practice. The NAECTE also cooperates with other national and international organizations concerned with the study and education of young children to raise awareness of the issues surrounding the early childhood education field.
The fall 2011 E-Letter discusses the work created by Doris Fromberg. Fromberg has created a curriculum geared towards all day pre-k and kindergarten classrooms that is culturally sensitive and offers developmentally appropriate strategies to increase responsible citizenship and academic progress.
