Communication Stlye

After taking three evaluations on my own communication style I realized a few things about how I communicate.  I am an empathetic listener and often very trusting of others.  I am able to respectfully talk about issues by attacking the position rather than the person.  I speak well in small groups, but feel uncomfortable speaking in front of large groups of people.  Mys husband, who knows me very well, evaluated me much like I did myself.  My colleague also came up with similar scores, but seemed to think I was more confident speaking in public than I really am.  As I continue to work on improving my communication I will work to gain confidence speaking in public, stand behind my beliefs and values in a respectable manner and listen to others more attentively especially when the information is complex or technical.
